Our role must set a foundation of success for our peers, our teams, and our community. We must consider that the consequences of our decisions may bring joy to each player and, equally, it may hurt them.
For this reason, each of us agrees to be bound by admin protocol. We operate as a council and exercise administrative authority unanimously.

Communication is our number one priority. The main purpose of this protocol is to ensure all administrators are debriefed and prepared to advocate for new objectives.

The admin protocol provides a framework that informs why we make the decisions we do and how we can meet our mission.
Administrative Approval relates to a unanimous team agreement. Once it is obtained, it is final until challenged by a future approval.
Expedited Approval is a time-sensitive directive of extreme urgency. It is effective immediately and must reach approval within 7 days or else it must be withdrawn.
Active member refers to any administrator not currently on hiatus.
An admin meeting involves a deliberate occasion where all active members are present in-person, on remote video, or in a voice-call.
Predicated Approval forms a chain of approval for amendments and stipulations. Once the predicated approval is unanimously authorized, both it and the target approval become effective.
Experiments refer to a time-limited clause on approvals after which they require a vote to renew their legitimacy.
Partial approval is an incomplete authorization where at least 50% of members have approved.
In order to exercise administrative authority, members must seek administrative approval.
There are no “negative” or “neutral” votes.
Conflicting approvals defer to the highest level of approval and most recent approval, in that order.
There is no limit to what may be admin approved, though some actions require the authority of administrative approval.

This will a) provide a platform to deliver context, b) open a discussion and invite meaningful critique, and c) verify that the team supports your mission.
